Join us December 2 – 6 for Dorchester Heritage Center’s 8th annual Quilt Show!
There are a few changes this year that include quilt size limitations, new categories, and the ability to sell quilts.
Rules of entry:
- Registration is a first come basis.
- Registration forms will be accepted after October 1 and must be received by the deadline of 5pm November 18.
- Entrants can enter more than one quilt, however, only one per category (Quilt, Wall, Baby/Lap)
- Entered quilts must not have been a winner at a previous DHC Quilt Show.
- Quilts must be turned in by 4 pm on November 25.
- Use a separate Entry Form for each entered quilt. Entries can be made either online or by mail. The description section must be filled out to display quilt.
- Quilts sold during the show must remain on display until the show closes. The DHC retains 10% of the sale price.
- No entry will be taken down before the end of the show. No item will be returned to its owner until all entries are down and ready for return beginning on December 9.
- Entries may be shipped back if postage is provided in advance.
Important dates to keep in mind:
- October 1 – Registration opens
- November 18 – Last day of registration
- November 25 – Quilts are due at DHC
- December 2-6 – Quilt Show
- December 9 – Quilt pick-up
