Discovery Series- April Event
Join our April Discovery Series on Thursday, April 11. The event is from 6-8 pm at the Timrod Library, 217 Central Avenue, Summerville. In April our guest is author Marissa Hale.
Marissa Hale will hold a presentation and book signing regarding her historical fiction novel, American Wild. She will have books there for sale.
Based on true events and historical figures during and after the Revolutionary War, American Wild is the unforgettable story of a woman’s odyssey into significance, a searchlight into heart, mind, history, and spirit.
Marissa’s diverse background in film, writing, music, business, and world travel enriches her works with a keen eye into the human experience. Acting professionally since childhood taught her character development. Writing songs and screenplays after college and touring as a band for a decade developed resilience and improved her storytelling. Travelling three continents to live among people as they are enhanced her ability to find beauty in hardship. Researching the true events in the story of American Wild continues to lead her on “An Adventurous Artful Life.”
