Thanks to all who participated in the Dorchester Heritage Center’s 8th annual quilt show, held December 2-6. It was an honor to showcase the skill and creativity of quilters who tell their stories through this traditional craft. With added categories, so many beautiful entries, and an opportunity to purchase heirloom quality quilts, we attracted visitors from all over the region. The 2025 show was our best yet! Be sure to take a peek at the photo gallery of winning quilts, featured below.

This year, we added a new event: Quilting for Kids. On December 6, we teamed with Public Works Art Center to offer a lesson in constructing quilt squares. Children aged 5-12 gathered to create their own personalized patchworks, which will be sewn together in 2026 to create a special community quilt on display at the museum. Stay tuned for the final product!

Congratulations to the talented winners of this year’s quilt show!
