We are excited to share that the Farmers Market at the Dorchester Heritage Center is under new management and expanding its reach.
Market in the Meadow – “The Market” – will officially open for the 2026 season on February 7, 2026, offering a refreshed and vibrant weekly market experience. Shoppers can expect traditional farmers market favorites—fresh produce, baked goods, and local fare—alongside an expanded selection of retail and artisan offerings.
We invite the community to join us at the Dorchester Heritage Center site at 964 Highway 78 in Ridgeville. Market hours will be 8:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays through December 12.

Application Process
• All vendors must complete an application and be approved prior to participation
• Applications will be reviewed by the DHC within 10 business days
• Vendor selection is based on product quality, market mix, and space availability
• The Market Manager reserves the right to limit the number of vendors in each category
• Preference is given to local farmers and producers from Dorchester County and
surrounding areas
Setup and Breakdown
• Setup may begin at 6:30 AM and must be completed by 7:45 AM
• All vehicles must be moved to vendor parking by 7:45 AM
• No sales permitted before official 8:00 AM opening
• Breakdown may not begin until 1:00 PM
• Complete breakdown must be finished by 2:00 PM
• Vendors must clean their area completely before departure
