This month’s Discovery Series will focus on an exciting exhibit coming to Dorchester County this fall. Learn more about The Wall that Heals, a ¾ scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This presentation will provide a brief history of the Vietnam War, the creation of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C., and details on how you can volunteer and support The Wall That Heals this fall. The featured speaker is David Dement, Chief Operating Officer of the Dorchester Heritage Center.
The event will be Tuesday, July 16 from 7 – 8 pm at the Marcia O’Brien Conference Center.
