The Dorchester Heritage Center is excited to receive a $25,000 federal grant from National Endowment for the Humanities to expand and build Native American exhibits on site.
Live5 News interviewed Robert Sherman, the Director of Museum Operations. Sherman says he encourages tribal members to come, visit, and express their opinions on the exhibit.
“I’d like to hear what they like, and especially what they don’t like about it,” Sherman says. “We have the board of the Wassamasaw tribe coming. We also have chief Creole of the Kusso tribe on our board. So, I encourage all these folks to come.”
